6 Education Resources to Fuel your Creativity
As I spend more and more of my time cultivating new ideas on how to bring value to other human beings, based on my experiences, it is impossible to avoid the subject of education. Now the word, "education", will automatically bring up certain visualizations based on the system we've created as the primary source of how we pass down information. For me, this education system was broken long before I even entered high school, though I didn't give much thought to this at the time I was enrolled in public school. Like everyone else I just accepted that this was the way it was, this is the way it's always been done, so I was funnelled into the life-sucking institution that is high school.
During my high school career I spent most of my time getting high or drunk - I even remember one afternoon skipping classes to get wasted directly across the street from the school.
When I decided to go to college it's really because I didn't know what else to do. When I was 20 years old (2008), Youtube did not exist the way it does now, Online education was barely a thing. We didn't have dozens of shows and podcasts with influencers to cover the education gap. Which is why it is SO FUCKING AMAZING to be alive right now. Education is no longer this narrow funnel in which we all have to be herded. Education is literally EVERYWHERE.
Long gone are the days where you have to sit in a classroom for 6 hours a day to be trained to work in a factory.
Long gone are the days of needing a "good education" to be successful. Something I believe to the core of my being is that if you're stuck and can't "make it" in a certain career, create your own. I cannot stress this enough. This is the whole reason for this website, this blog, my channels; because I didn't quite fit in with what others in my industry were doing. So that was the answer: create it myself.
Now, I understand that this can be overwhelming for some people.
They don't have the necessary skills, they believe they aren't ready, talented, have the courage. And understand, to acquire these things takes time. I have been creating for 10 years and I am only now beginning to build on that foundation. But that's the beauty of it. If you aren't waking up everyday excited to learn and acquire knowledge then the first thing I will suggest you practice is self awareness. WHY are you doing something? That is the first and fundamental question anyone should be asking themselves if they are feeling lost.
Here are some fantastic resources that have helped me along my educational journey. It includes interviews, videos, podcasts and they are all pretty amazing.

Creative Pep Talk Podcast with Andy J Pizza
And one of my all time favourite educational resources is Mindvalley. A completely mind blowing and new way of bringing education to the world.
You don't have to be the best at something to get started, you just have to believe you can get better and acquire the skills you need to get where you want to go.
